1. don't make huge movements.

If you are using the computer to capture the frames (like we do) then this helps to let you see if the movement was to big. Thats what makes it choppy. The smaller the movement the smoother it will look. However, if your doing something thats very fast for example, throwing a punch, you can get away with bigger movements provided that it looks natural.

2. Over balancing.

Especially with these toys, falling over, tipping, or joints not holding up, are frequent problems. be aware of your "actors" limitations. We've found two great ways to get around this problem. 1. Camera angles: If Prime needed to lean way back to dodge a laser blast, I know he'd probably not stay balanced in such a position, so I'd use a camera angle where his legs are not in shot. This allows me to hold onto his lower legs to keep him from falling over while the frame is being taken. This is easier to do if you have an extra person working the camera while you animate. 2. CLAY!!! Clay is your best friend. frames go by so fast it's usually not noticed and it works for almost anything. We use it all the time on the feet to help balance charactors. RID Prime for example has GREAT articulation but he's hard to balance in many poses, so we use clay on his feet alot.

3. Take your time.

Don't rush. The more you rush the crappier it looks, "CRUSH" for example was done in about half an hour, for my cousins who wanted to see how we made the films. It looks realy choppy and poorly done. because it was. The more time you put in the better.

We've been working on this project for several months now and I REALLY hope we don't dissapoint you guys. We appreciate all the feedback and input everyones given thanks.

What's the story?

Basically it's a a direct sequel to PrimeTime 1. Armada Prime returns as Energon Prime and he's out for revenge, to prove that he is the best Optimus Toy.

But Energon Prime sux Grand convoy is better in every way.
