I've heard rumors of Alternator Silverstreak being found with both variants. For those of you own or have seen one, what side was the steering wheel on?

Right side, Japan Style.

Mine has the left-hand side. Also, England has the steering wheel on the right-hand side, the rest of Europe has it on the left.

i friggin hope i find one on the right, i'd like to have a jdm impreza. my luck it'll be on the left once tallahassee gets a shipment, next year. :tdown

I heard from over at seibertron.com forums, that the right hand side (Japan Style) was the first wave of figures but was quickly fixed with the next shipment being shipped to the left side American Style.

That makes sense, cause I got him as soon as BBTS.com had em' up to buy.

And those Seibertron folks got it from Allspark, who in turn heard it from 2005 Boards, and that was me there just making an observation...

All I did was point out that the pics of the initial release wave all showed an RHD version while the reports about an LHD version didn't pop up before the wave that included Hound was released. There's no solid confirmation yet as whether this was a) a running change or b) a deliberate variation for collectors (which Remy suspects), which would mean it could be (up to) a 50:50 ratio.

Also, England has the steering wheel on the right-hand side, the rest of Europe has it on the left.

Could anyone please edit that in the poll options? I live in Europe and have been to several other countries, and all of them had their steering wheels on the same side as American cars.

To my knowledge, the only European country that has RHD is a remote island whose inhabitants don't even consider themselves as part of the "continent". ;)
