I like the cartoon more than the DW comics. I don't care much for bubble bots and

the cartoon has a better story(if you count the jap toons) in my opinion.

Umm, no offense or anything, but what's the percentage of time that you actually contribute a meaningful post? I'm not exactly sure what relevance your latest post even had to the discussion. At least elaborate more.

 

(realizes fully that this post in itself is pretty much spam and even a borderline flame, but something needed to be said)

I think that the designs and story is better worked out in the Dreamweave reality, hence that I use as pre earth the War Within designs as canon for myself as well as things like Optronix instead of Orion Pax from the cartoon, which was a version that wasn't worked out at all.

 

As for Megatron in War Within, he is also made by that same 3d artist and pre-earth Megatron is a very VERY nasty looking tank.

Yeah. WWI Megatron looks like he could ruin anyone's day just by looking at them the wrong way! Dreamwave does tend to flesh things out a bit more. I can't say that I'm crazy about the name "Optronix", but that's just my taste in tf names speaking. All the same, I thin DW's continutiy is a bit more reliable than the cartoon's, just due to the fact that it was by fare more carefully planned out. Besides that, i agree with the concensus that WWI Prime's alt mode ROCKS.
