Primus does not exist in the G1 cartoon continuity and Unicron is not even godlike, he's just a huge machine

thay sead "thank primus" quite a few times annd if it wernt for that one bloody ep with that miget Uni would be a dark god but some writer in his wisdom distroyed that idea :tfmad

Heres the pic before Photoshop.

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that Primus could have transformed, but he sacrificed the ability in order to create life (Transformers)

Oh dude! I just noticed this but his body design looks a crap load like Optimus Cybertronian Robot mode from " War Within"

This debate about Primus is a bit enlightening. Side noted that in the latest issue of G1, Bumblebee makes several remarks that are true to the doubtful about the existance of a greater being. "if Primus truly exists, why does he let such things happen?" God knows I've said the same thing. In my opinion, while Primus hasn't made his physical appearance yet we have seen mild divinities of his existance. Recently in the War Within saga we 'saw' primus making the final blow against the Fallen. Not to mention Primus' has had his hand with creating gifted bots with his powers such as the late Xhaaron (mispelled, I dunno). Also in the field of Endowed with the Spark of the creator, is the new Stonecold Stunning (SEE G1 v3 #2 :tflaugh ) bad ass Sunstorm. As for the animated side of things, Primus is still the mysterious being but in Energon we still see Primus more as a voice than a shape. This goes to show that the writers are mantaining a sign of ambiguity towards the divine which is just a normal fact of life.

the sketch that everyone's talking about appeared in the War Within vol 1 tpb. It was then colored and used in the Ultimate Guide written by Furman. The pic that blade posted is the final version used in the guide.

All the same, the pic looks like they finalized the design and transform for Primus. I'll bet even money that there's a prototype in the works for Primus as we speak. Some may consider it wishful thinking, others may say I have rocks in my head, but take a look at the picture of Primus for a moment. It looks pretty defined transformwise to me.
