As the thread implies, what would make a good repaint of the Jag?

I don't feel like going the route of SkyLynx.

Let me kow what your suggestions are. (Preferrably G1 since I am old and those are the characters I know and grew up with)

Thanks!

I think the best one is Rampage (the one that's part of Predaking). But try to hide the orange in the car mode. A red Jaguar should look good.

Steeljaw is the most obvious other option. But I don't think yellow fits a Jag that well.

ramhorn a burgandy jag would fit nicely

Options :schin

Goldish yellow for Steeljaw (obvious)

Red for one of the Predacons.

Or you could paint him green and call him Rattrap. I think green will look pretty good on this design.

One more reason to go for Rampage:

Because that color really does look cool on a Jag. (image straight from Jaguar.com)

Amazing idea would look great in that mettalic burgundy, might even try this one myself.

So far we have:

Ramhorn in a Burgandy Mica,

Rampage in an Orange Sunburst Pearl.

And Steeljaw in a non-prototypical yellow. (I just might use Yellow Tracks, and swap Battle Kitty's head painted yellow for this character)

You could go for the Cobalt Sentry from E-Hobby:

Howlback - Transforms from a robotic jaguar into a cassette. Female.

ok, ravage related, but off topic. why where there two bots, two birds, but one cat cassette? just curious.
