Most of the base stuff is done, but I'm wondering about the upper legs. The paint wouldn't grab and completely flaked off. I'm thinking of leaving them in the lighter gray--maybe the two-tone looks all right?

What do you guys think?

I think the two tone is fine. It give a the figure a little bit of depth. Very nice work :thumb

NOICE! Did you do anything for his face?

I'm debating whether or not I'll be putting the red stripes on. I like the clean look, but I'm wondering if it's too plain. (There will still be 'Con symbols though)

Personally, I'd do the red stripes, but that's just my opinion. Nice work!

Maybe just do the wingtips in red and not stripe the whole wing? It'd be a compromise between clean and toon and I think it'd look nice.

Well, finally got back to this project. I went ahead and put wing stripes on. I also put a small stripe on the tails. I didn't want to paint them blue, but I didn't want to leave them plain either.

I want to use clear-backed Decepticon insignias, but I don't want to buy an entire pack from Reprolabels. I only need three of them (two for this figure, one for another)

Here's the robot mode. I painted the insides of the helmet black. (The blank spots where helmet meets the faceplate)

I painted the 'sides' of his body in red, and continued the 'belt' along with it. I also painted the panels that the arms are attached to so it all matches. I left the vents on his shins alone, painting just the housing. I may go back and paint the vents in a darker gray, but I could leave it alone just the same.
