That's old news but it's fortunate somebody found it :D

I'll go with RiD. It had potentional but the cartoon was baaad. So I hope DW can do a better job with it.

Old news indeed. We've been discussing this for a while over in the comic vault. I voted for RID, you really can't do more with Beast Wars. The story was told and is done, and it was great. Not much they can add to it to make it better. RID, on the other hand, has a lot of untapped potential, especially with characters like Scourge and Ultra Magnus.

personally, I hope they incorporate elements and plot twists from RID and theENTIRE Beast wars line (neo and 2nd).

I was under the impression that the Tripredicus council sent Predacon operatives (unknowing of the real intentions of the Tripredicus council) to earth/other areas in 4 different time dimensions to bring about the downfall of the TF race and get enough energon to rule the universe (and prbably make Unicron a happy chappy).

so:

1/ BW Megs goes to prehistoric Earth.

2/ BW2 galvatron goes to Earth in the distant future/ Time of Beast Machines (when Humans have left only traces of their technology...and the place is known now only as "gaia", which means "earth" in their own ancient language).

3/ Gigatron goes to the beginning of the 21st century (possibly an alternate dimension) where the Transformers were not known or ignored until then.

4/ Magmatron was sent to recover energon/amolgis energon due to Galvatrons failiure.

the Cyberrtonians, then sent 4 groups out to track the preds, but the time/space coordinates were similar to each other (3 different times, one same destination) so they had to split up.

But tahts just my idea....
