I was dead. I was dead. I had to be dead. how could I not be dead? The last thing I remember was being chased by angry quints and comeing in contact with some titanic monster. How can Ihave survived that? My optics fluttered. I lay on my side, Breathing heavily. The air around me was stale and musty. I tried to sit up, but cried out in pain. Glanceing down I noticed that a blood-stained bandage was coverig my waist and lower chest. Confused, I touched the wound. Then glanced around. Where was I? and... how had I gotten there? It was hard too see. wherever I was, It was dark except for a beam of light that shone down from a hole in the roof above the place where I lay. After a few minutes of analisis I realized that I seemed to be resting in some type of nest made from seaweed. Exhausted, I layed back down. I was too tired to really care about where I was. I turned onto my side and noticed that a bowl of oil and a chunk of bloody meat had been laid out for me. I was confused, and a little suspicious... What was going on? Who ever heard of being fed? You have to hunt and kill you own prey. That was a law of nature. This had to be a trick. my fuel reactor growled, cautiously I picked up the bowl and took a sip of the oil. It tasted okay... but how could I be sure? I guess I really couldn't. Oh well.... better to die of poisening then to starve to death and die of thirst. I drained the bowl then dug into the fresh meat. It tasted a little bitter, not nearly as good as the steel of a mechinoid, but I wasn't going to complain. For the first time in days I felt sated. My side hurt, but I wasn't starving anymore. With my fuel tank full I was able to think more clearly. I was in a cave. and I wasn't dead. Someone, or something had saved my @$$. suddenly, I froze. Listening closely, I heared the sound of ragged breathing. I held my Breath. The Breathing continued. That ment only one thing. I wasn't alone... Staggering to my feet i walked on toward where the breathing was comeing from, I stared into the darkness and almost screamed. Laying only a few feet in front of me..... was the most terrifying monster I had ever seen. I thanked Primus that I could only see the outline, becuase I don't think I would've been able to handle seeing the whole thing. What I saw was a creature at least twice as long as I was in beast mode. The thing lay curled up like a cat. Long, jagged spikes ran alng it's back. It had a mace-like tail that swept across the ground as it slept. The beasts sides moved in and out ever so slightly with it's breathing. I noticed that the creature had long, sharp fangs that came up and down the sides of it's jaws when it's mouth was closed. I also noticed that it had long, sharp, claws. I shudder when I thought about what those claws could do to me. I got the whole picture now. This.... thing killed the Quintissons and eat them. Then it brought me back to it's cave for breckfast. Well, No way. I was getting out of there... NOW! Quietly I backed up. I took one step, then another, and heard a loud, cracking sound. I froze in terror, positive that the thing would wake up. The monster stirred, Then it turned over and lay still. I breathed a sigh of relief. Then glanced down. I had stepped on a skull. In fact.... the ground was littered with bones and metal limbs. Unable to controle myself, I screamed. The Creature's red, blazeing eyes shot open. I screamed again and fell back, crashing into the skeleton of a dead simian. I thrashed and flailed, several sharp bones sank into my hands and arms. The monster slowly rose and stepped into the light. The monster was covered in harpoon wounds. It's torso was covered with dry blood. "No... No... please... please don't..." I cried, my fear threatening to cause hyperventilation. The creature raised one claw and reached toward me. I covered my race with my arms, waiting for the thing to pull my head off.... and felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. "Don't be scared. I have not intention of hurting you." I heard a low, gruff voice say. Cautiously I opened my eyes. The monster stood looming over me. It smiled, showing six rows of dagger-like fangs. I flinched. The beasts smile faded, It brushed the bones off of my skin and helped me to my feet. "Why do you act so paranoid? If I intended on consuming or destroying you you'd be slowly digesting in my reactor right now, but fourtinately for you I don't plan on killing you." He said. Definitly a male voice. To low and gutteral to be female. My gaze fell to the doorway of the cave. I was wondering weather or not I could make it out before this thing caught me. As if reading my thoughts, the thing turned and walked back into a corner of the cave. He yawned and layed down. "Your free to go. I'm not gonna stop you." He said apatheticly, "But I'd advise against it." I winced, My side still hurt. I looked back at the door. Wondering what to do.

Not bad..... But like I said, I would never hurt you. I may grab you, drag you up the edge of a building and hold you in a cave against your will, and eat your boy friend, But I'd never hurt you.
