New Listings Transformers Walmart *SPOILERS*

Recommended Posts

I personally think that most of the basics (minus Scattershot and Command Ravage and a couple others) and a majority of the deluxes (gestalts) are going to be Cybertron releases. Hartman said that some of the other listing (GI Joe, SW) indicated product that was not finalized and wouldn't be available until early 2005.

Given that besides a new Ravage, there are no other listings that indicate any animal forms (Energon Terrorcons), most of the basics are Cybertron listings. Some of the deluxes are more questionable (except the gestalt listings).

It makes sense to expand the powerlinking idea to proper gestalts, but I think some of your are putting your hopes too high if you are expecting new combiners in the 4-6 member area. I think it is far more likely that the combining setup for Cybertron (or Energon, I am not entirely ruling that possibility out) will be a deluxe core unit, that combines somehow with 2 basics, similar to the BW Magnaboss and Tripredacus combiners, or even Rail Racer.

Guess we will have to wait until July 31 to find out.

Well I dont mind if they use the same gestalt style of Railracer or the others as long as we get a decent Gestalt with articulation.

And yes, hasbro will show it at OTFCC along with energon versions of "Grmlock" and "Swoop".

Quickstrike?

I still think that Quickstrike will be a Scorponok repaint (I'm sure that Hasbro will put some kind of new ultra Decepticon out by fall), what are his inverse colors?

3 repaints in Energon, that were just fillers in wave 1. after that, all the repaints were from Armada, and were forced to release becuase they were on the show. We still want those Energon Cyclonus and Energon Demolisher, right?

Besides those, Energon consists only of new molds. Therefor, I think this one is indeed a new mold.

I gotta agree. The ruination/bruticus mold has been used way too much and it's unlikely that they would reuse it again for Energon. Armada molds repainted in Energon is one thing but G1 molds repainted is just going too far.

I think that Hasbro/Takara has come out with an all new gestault for Energon. Will it be good, bad or ugly? Who knows. But if RID gave us Railracer and Omega Prime, I am fairly confident that they can come up with a good one for Energon. After all, Energon has been filled with a fair amount of really good molds: Megatron, Starscream, Battle Ravage, Landmine, Bulkhead, Shockblast and more.

Maybe, just maybe this is the energon design for a Devestator gestault. Everyone wants Devestator to make a comeback. And if Devestator isn't construction vehicles then so be it. No offense but; OH CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES...SCARY. And since energon Demolisher shows how a revamp of Long Haul would probably look, I think most people would agree that a construction vehicle team would probably look bad. Just my opinion.

Quickstrike?

IT LOOKS MORE LIKE BATTLETRAP TO ME.

Shockblast - Sixshot makes sense but it seems he still uses purple and green.

Beachcomber is the closest so far IMHO.

I still think Sixshot deserved his own new mold
