My Nemesis, part 3:Confrontation

 

There will be no recap this time. By now you should have already read part 1 and part 2. If not, read no further until you have read them both in order. Otherwise, you’ll have no clue as to what the slag I’m talking about.

“MegatronVegeta, we are nearly to the Thallian star system.�

“Thank you, Soundwave. Starscream, open a channel to Shockwave aboard the Dictator. Inform I need massive information found on this ‘Cronus’.�

“Yes, MegatronVegeta, it shall be as you command.�

With that, Starscream left for the deep space comm. room to carry out my command.

“Soundwave, I’ll be in quarters. Let me know when we arrive or Shockwave sends that intel.�

“Yes, MegatronVegeta.�

I retired to my quarters for about 2 cycles. While there, I ran a system diagnostic. All systems checked out. I checked my power level, energy level, ammo status, and began retrofitting myself for deep space combat. It takes a while to do that.

Beep! Beep!

“Yes, what is it?� I asked.

“Shockwave has sent the information you requested and we are 1 cycle from the Thallian star system. Long distance scanners indicate a pyramid like structure orbiting the Thallian homeworld. We will not be able to scan the internal structure of the ship until we get inside the solar system, at which point we will have been detected.� Came the reply.

“Thank you, Soundwave. Come in here a give me the information.�

Soundwave came in and gave the data disk which contained the information. As he left, he stopped and turned around.

“Are you sure you will want to attack him after you read that data? Please don’t answer me now, sir. I just fear for you and your troops.�

“Soundwave, I trust you based on the fact that you are unfaltering in your judgments. I will call you in here once I have finished reading this data. Now go and watch the bridge, I don’t want to have Starscream on the bridge alone, I don’t trust him, even now.�

“Yes, MegatronVegeta.�

As began to read the data, I got to thinking.

“What the slag does this mean?�

This a brief summary of that data. Apparently Cronus was originally a member of a race of beings known as the Gao’uld. He was killed, or that’s he led everyone to believe, by his own Jaffa warriors. But in truth, he had chosen a new host. This host I knew, because Vegeta had fought him before. The host’s name: Broly. Broly was the legendary super Sayain. Even as he would fight, his power level would increase dramatically. But that was not the half of it. He had fused himself, using to same technology that gave birth to me, to the Autobot Hot Rod. He then built up his armies and was apparently looking for something. Something I had, because he was following me and found Galactus before me. He was waiting for me, and was not about to disappoint him. The rest of the data included his ship’s size, strength, and the amount of Jaffa warriors he had.

“Soundwave, stop the ship and order Shockwave to meet us here, now. We will need the Dictator’s firepower and crew in the oncoming fight.�

“We are facing Cronus, MegatronVegeta? I thought you would second guess his size and strength, and then decide to save the fight for later.�

“No, Soundwave, I want to know why he’s following me. But I already know. I just want to hear it from his own lips before I destroy him and his fleet. He challenges me, and no one does that and lives to tell about it.�

Two cycles later, the Dictator was with us and we were in the Thallian star system.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

“Soundwave! What’s going on?�

“We are being hailed by Cronus, MegatronVegeta.�

“Open the comm. channel.�

Click. As I expected, there was Cronus, blue eyes blazing, long golden hair to mid- shoulder, a cold metallic hunger emanating from him.

“Greetings, MegatronVegeta. I am Cronus, Gao’uld system lord and now your enemy. You have something I want. You know what it is.�

“Ah, so you think I have something you want. Would you mind telling me what it is so I can tell whether or not I have it?�

“The Matrix. I want the Matrix.� He tried to give me a cold stare, but it didn’t work on me.

“The Matrix? Why in the pit would I have that?�

“Because you stole it from Optimus Prime and left him in critical condition. As one of my hosts is able to gain power from it, I want it.�

“Well, you’re right. I do have it. But you’re not getting it.�

“You would be wise not to refuse me. I have power beyond your wildest imagination.�

“Bullslag, Cronus. I am stronger than Broly. Broly was comatose for years before you claimed him as your host and then fused with Hot Rod using technology you stole from me!�

“How do I know you’re not lying?�

I was beginning to seethe with anger. I must not let my anger take control. BLAST YOU VEGETA!

With my eyes flaming red, I turned to him. How do I know my eyes were flaming red? My troops began to back away from me. They knew I was pissed.

“YOU DARE TO CHALLENEGE YOU IGNORANT WRETCH?�

“So I have angered you in my blatant disrespect? Good. That proves to me you can not possibly carry the Matrix within you.�

“Oh yeah, then what the slag is this?�

I opened my chest, revealing the Matrix, glowing red instead of blue. It had been tainted by my evil. Which is good. Good for me and no one else.

“You’ve tainted the matrix with your evil. Wonderful!�

“Soundwave, kill the channel. This idiot is pissing me off.�

“Yes, MegatronVegeta.�

Click.

The conversation was over, but we had yet to fight.

“All weapons fire on his fleet! I want his existence utterly destroyed!�

LOL, I love this story!!! And I love what you did to Cronus, long golden hair, blue eyes, bad attitude... Evil never looked so good. :drool

I was thinking about having the Dictator crewed by Shockwave, yourself, SQ, and an army of Sharkticons. What do ya think?

I need to have some kind of description as to what you look like so it is completely accuarate.

Oh, um... Okay. Take a featureless fem bot. Give her shoulder-length dark hair. Yellow eyes, and Sharkticon Armor. In beast mode, I'm slimmer then most Sharkticons,and bigger. A little smaller then Grimlock, but bigger then a Full-grown allicon. Oh, and I have fangs. Lots, and lots, of fangs. Oh, and not to mention perfectly manicured claws.
