Here is the next chapter of the My Nemesis story. I hope you like it. By the way, SQ, you may notice I used the name you suggested.

 

My nemesis, part 2.

 

You should all know by now the first chapter of the My Nemesis story. If you haven’t read it yet, I suggest you do. But I will do a brief recount of the last tale.

My troops and I were bound for the Alpha-Centauri star system. We were on the hunt, and Galactus was the prey. We were hungry, hungry for battle, and the blood lust was running high in all my troops.

“Soundwave, what is our present course and distance to the Alpha-Centauri star system?�

“We are currently on a 387 by 285 course, MegatronVegeta, speed warp 8.5. Present distance to destination, 12 light years.�

“Thank you, Soundwave.�

“What’s the point, MegatronVegeta? I’ve heard the stories of Galactus. And he’s no worse than Unicron. In fact, they do the same thing. They devour worlds.�

“Starscream, don’t be so naive. We destroyed Unicron six months ago, remember? He’s no longer a challenge to my authority. And you will not be either if you keep questioning my motives. You know the threat of galactic conquerors against me. They want to rule, I want to rule. The only way for ME to rule is to destroy them. Besides, one or all of them could unite against us, and that would deplete our forces. Even though the Sayains would enjoy the challenge. Especially with our improvements, they could eventually be destroyed. But they are needed. Just like you. Otherwise I would have already destroyed for your treacherous past. You forget I’m not more Vegeta than Megatron. It is an equal sharing of the two.�

Starscream walked away, disgusted as usual, because he knew I was right. These other galactic conquerors threatened my conquest, and I was not about to let that happen.

“By the way, Starscream, you’re forgetting something.�

“What’s that, MegatronVegeta?�

“I am your ruler. Kneel before your master and respect my authoritah!�

With that, Starscream knelt before and swore his allegiance to me. It was sort of a daily routine. I make him do that so that he realizes I am not one to be toyed with. He is learning very quickly. But not quick enough.

“Shaorwyn, ready my Sayain warriors for battle. Maximum armor, super Sayain two.�

Shaorwyn was most trusted Sayain lieutenant. He had long black hair down to his shoulders, which were very broad, even for a Sayain. His eyes were of a dull yellowish-green, which frightens even the bravest of Decepticons. When Vegeta arrived on Vegeta II, he was the most powerful warrior there. He is still the most powerful warrior. He was the only Sayain on that rock who had achieved super Sayain, but after my arrival and training, he can now go level 3, while the other Sayains can only go level 2.

“Why so high a level, MegatronVegeta?�

“Because, Shaorwyn, I suspect our prey knows we are coming. And I want them to be ready for anything. Anything. Is that clear?�

“Yes, sir!� He turns to the intercom of my flagship, the Nemesis, which was rebuilt and upgraded on earth, Cybertron, and Vegeta II. “All Sayains! Prepare for combat! Maximum armor, super Sayain level 2! Meet in the briefing room in 5 breems!�

He then ran to get himself ready. Meanwhile, Soundwave had something urgent that needed to be brought to my attention.

“MegatronVegeta, we are being approached on all sides by Thallian vessels. Energy signatures unknown. We are being hailed.�

“On the main viewer.�

Click.

“This is MegatronVegeta. How dare you swarm around my ship and then procede to try proper greetings with me while I am on my way to battle!�

The image on the viewer was horrendous. Imagine, if you will, a fusion of the creatures from that earth movie, Alien, and the Cybertronian energy vampire. I’m sure you know what they look like. Also, they are telepaths.

“ I am Slalothic. I apologize for not following your set procedures, MegatronVegeta, but there isn’t much time. Our homeworld was just destroyed by a fiercesome beast.�

“Can you describe it for me, Slalothic?� I demanded. I wanted to know if it was Galactus, because that would mean he was moving toward us, instead of away from us. Talk about bravado.

“Contrary to who you think, MegatronVegeta, it is not Galactus. I fear that this thing is much stronger, far worse than Galactus and Unicron combined. I believe it is a being known soley as Cronus. It may be wise for you to go through the Tauri system.�

“I do not want to go around through the earth’s solar system. It’s too far out of the way! I want to get to Galactus as quickly as possible. Now, if you will not get out of my way, I’ll make you.�

“I will not allow you passage. The route you seek is too dangerous.�

“Very well, then. Goodbye.�

I walked over to the main console, killed the communiqué, and flicked a switch. The lights dimmed. The energy bar above the switch reached 100%. I pushed a button. A sweep of energy was released from all sides of the Nemesis, vaporizing all the Thallian vessels.

“They were warned, and they didn’t listen.� Starscream said gleefully.

“Correct. Now as further demonstration of my power, we shall seek out and destroy this so-called ‘Cronus.’�

For those of you who don't know, the Tauri system is our solar system. The name is taken from Stargate SG-1. Very good series.
