I used Cybertron Red alert. Cannonball would have probably been easier to recolor but I was in the middle of making him using Red alert (I had the hood and windshield mods all done) when Cannonball came out and I didn't want to have to start from scratch.

Wow that Trailbreaker is my fav also. I could only see that mold done as a Shockwave, until now.

That is a really great idea to use Red alert/Cannonball to make Trailbreaker. Way cool.

great stuff man.

wj reminds me of mine. i had his legs turned around like that, but then switched them back and just painted the details.

nice.

I decided to go with a rotating waist allowing the hood to become the front of the legs because I plan on using the Universe version of this mold as a base for 2 more eventual bashes: Sunstreaker and Tracks. So I didn't want all three to have the exact same transformation.

Plus waists are just a cool feature anyway. Unfortunately, no waists on Ironhide or Trailbreaker.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering...

Trailbreaker's hood and windshield are not removed during transformation. They are connected to the main body at all times.
