I just got a near mint (only three stickers with very minor flaws) complete Piranacon today (was very dusty and had to spend a hour today cleaning it). He was fregging expensive (193.00). Very cool fig. I had no idea he was this big. As a kid and even before I got on this message board I never planed to get him, until I read More than Meets the Eye, and heard all of you talking about him. I knew after that I must have him. Wheeljackslab had one up for auction and I had the money so I got him (have to get Abominus and Devastator latter, what I was going to get with the money). I Iove the colors and the look of the figs, defiantly one of the better G1. I however think the stands are stupid (had to have them so he would be complete). They are to put the Seacons on and then they look like they have a pole shoved up their butts :tflaugh1 , or like guns on a stick. So who hear has him and what do you think ( O and how much did you pay so I don't feel so bad). Come on some of you Seacons have to have him. :thumb

I've got him minty(C9) loose complete. I got him a few years ago with all the parts including tech specs for the all the bots, and instructions for Snaptrap for around $220 IIRC. I really like him. He's my second favorite behind Predaking.

 

The weapon stands are a little meh, but overall what's not to love about a targetmaster combiner with a really cool sword?

i bought each of the seperate seacons over the years not realizing that they made a larger bot, only thing i need is the feet/hands/head, but thats all, i didnt pay more than $2 each for any of them, i just have incredible luck going to yard sales :)

i happened to keep up with all my snaptrap (leader's name?) parts over the years and so it cost me about $30 (10 for other five and 20? for snaptrap back in the day) all in all in have my complete gesalt! :)

he is a great figure and i love the fact that there are six seacons, so more interchangable coolness!!

I have two! One with the limbs made up of only Tentakills!

I got mine as a hand-me-down (free :tfevil ). Of course this means that he is incomplete. The figures are in great shape on their own, but I am lacking the peices to make him combine. :tfsad :tfevil

I'm still cobbling together a deal for one. I use to have him, great figure.

sadly, i don't have him yet. i'm planning on getting him, as my intention is to have a COMPLETE G1 collection by the end of 2005. so far, my Gestalt collection consists of:

all original, and i'm planning on going after Abominus next (i always thought he was badass). i also have Rampage, so i need to go after the other Predacons, too.... :tfevil

yeah, abominus is cool

i acutally never set out to get him but when i got a bunch of his parts unexpectedly in a lot i decided to try and complete him but i'm still far from doing it. i've got snaptrap, tentakill, skalor, and seawing. no small accessories for the smaller bots though. also have the head, feet, one fist and the sword for piranacon. also 2 platforms and 3 stands.

 

still need nautilator and overbite, the missing fist and other accessories i don't have. quite honestly i've considered giving up the quest to complete it but seeing i got all the parts i do have quite cheap, i just might hope i get lucky to get the rest in the same way. who knows maybe i can arrange a fair trade with someone here who has some extra pieces to spare. it would be nice to complete him and add him to my collection which it the moment stands at:

abominus: complete

computron: only need individual weapons

g2 devastator: needs individual weapons and waist plate

defensor: only needs one of hotspots hoses otherwise complete

 

not to mention a couple of complete ruinations. hopefully in the future i'll complete some of of the others i have parts to. :thumb
