I was just rewatching the movie and I noticed there were few extras and the storyboards weren't even complete. Perhaps when the 20th Ann. for the movie they could rerelease the dvd with NEW extras? Specifically extras such as:

- TF:TM cels, promotional art (hankens), character color keys, sketches (if any still exist w/TOEI studios)

- TF:TM trivia/interactive features

- TF:TM timelines (including animated tv series before and after movie)

- TF:TM voice actors bios & interviews

- TF:TM complete storyboards in chronological order (if they exist)

- TF:TM interviews with surviving cast, screenwrite, & the original character designer (if still alive)

- TF:TM interview with TOEI studios personnel who worked on it (ditto)

- TF:TM complete script (if it still exists)

- TF:TM original theatrical trailers

- TF:TM newly designed menus and chapters

- TF:TM digitally cleaned up from the studio master copies & THX sound

- TF:TM widescreen viewing format, w/correct aspect ratios

Are there any other extras or revisions you guys think would make the anniversary edition particularly noteworthy? Thanks! :thumb

Cel Art, OST included, interviews with the creators of the current comics, voice actors would be good.

I'd buy it, if they did release a 20th anniversay edition, is there going to be one?

NEWAYS, yeah, and the G1 commercials, I love the G1 commercials!

Actually commercials would be a great idea. I also forgot to add TF:TM toys then and now, ie. Armada Unicron.

Definitely widescreen. I've been saying that for a while now.

Amen to that. Hell, I'd be happy with just a widescreen edition, extra features or no.

Though, I'd love to see the previews and whatever concept art still remains as well..

What you said. :tflaugh1

Also, I'd like to see a new soundtrack CD with the full cinematic score (sorry, Botcon exclusive owners) in a wide release. That would be great. :tfgrin

Are we actually GETTING an Anniversery DVD?

Well officially nothing is confirmed, yet, but the purpose of this thread is to discuss what might be good features to incorporate in the next one. Thanks. :thumb

I'd be content with an image that doesn't turn into crap once they get to the Junkion planet.

maybe bios on the bots, and toy commercials, deffiantly that. Preview of what will come after, maybe a preview of the live action movie (but since it isn't even in production yet, that wont happen)
