Hey Soundwave, lay off the crack man, seriously, were worried about you. Hasbro releasing a mold that Takara hasnt, i seriously doubt it. It seems to me that hasbro is just a toy repackaging company these days. I just thank God for the internet. I dont need to buy them at Toys R US, I can get the real thing with no modifications, plus cool extras that make up pages to my book that come in every Takara release. I can get the latest release from BBTS for 29.99 with 4.99 shipping. Actually, with the price of gas these days, its cheaper to buy it fromm BBTS then it is to drive to TOYS R US to look for new exclusives. So, to me, its cheaper to get Takara.

You are confusing your opinion w/ what may or may not be fact. Regardless of what you think Hasbro will do, you have the same amount of expertise as the rest of us....ZILCH. As everyone knows, Hasbro acts like all of their G1 plans are a matter of National Security or something and they bascially don't tell us anything. For you or anyone else to think that there is no possibility that Hasbro will ever release a fig that Takara passed on is idiotic.

 

Just as I don't really believe any 'rumor' I read until I actually see an official confirmation from Hasbro or the product itself on the shelves, I don't discount the fact that those rumors 'might' be true until I recieve the same confirmation otherwise.

 

The start of this post was only to report a rumor I saw on another site about some future releases and to get everyones opinion on the validity. Sorry, but simply saying it's not going to happen "just because Takara hasn't released it yet" is not enough to change my mind one way or the other....

Here's an idea: let's wait and see. All I could find was Hasbro's post on their q&a regarding G1 reissues. Takara's website had nothing about it one way or the other, but it doesn't mean that Sunstreaker will never come out. Just keep your eyes peeled, and see what happens.

Last time I checked, there were many TRU releases that Takara has not issued (Ultra Magnus, Grapple, Hoist, 3 add'l seekers, etc.)

 

I'm not exactly sure all the ones that were exclusives, but if you want to see the reissues that Takara released a few years ago, you can check out my pics in the collectors corner. I have most of the Hasbro and Takara reissues pictured there. Among them, Grapple, Hoist, 3 seekers, etc... The only main one not pictured there is the Takara Ultra Magnus reissue, which I have yet to buy.
