The High Hunt: Sweeps

Odd fact of the day: actually, Galactus was usually nowhere near as big as Unicron - he was just a skyscraper high sort of guy who went around draining life from planets, rather than chewing them up.

SayNo2TfTentacles!: The Huntmasters are my next little project and are roughly 3/10s done so far.

DracoJesi: I use a combination of ProEngineer and Photoshop.

Now, don't you just hate it when you finish a piece of work and suddenly realise there's a glaring mistake. I could have kicked myself when I saw that I'd forgotten to close up the jetmode sweeps' arms so that they didn't show through the hull. Grr!

Slightly ammended 'horde' pic below:

That's awesome! I could almost see that pic on the back of a G1 box.

ive seen galactus in different sizes though he has more power than unicron which is fine with me......it makes sense he galactus can be as big as unicron if he wanted but theres no point ...i dont think he can get smaller than a skyscraper though somthing about jamming his power in a small form lol...it must be awkward clothes shopping at that size

COOL!!!!

Galactus is a big-time Marvel comics threat. Not really a bad guy, but he has wiped out the home planets of major races, basically shattering galactic empires in his simple quest for sustenance. Galactus is not mindless, but he is, when fully charged, of almost limitless power. He appears in different forms to different races-to humans, he appears to be a 300' humanoid fully covered in scarlet battle armor. His power, at normal levels, dwarfs that of Odin, Sentry, Onslaught, the Magus, etc. His hand-picked "heralds" are former mortals whom he chose to imbue with a fraction of his cosmic power-enough of a fraction to make the herald an even match for the likes of Superman. The Heralds scout for suitable planets for Galactus to devour, warn sentient beings of his arrival in some cases so they may evacuate, and in some cases soften military targets if there is an outside chance that the defending force could inconvenience Galactus.

Galactus is a holdover from a sentient race that existed before the current Big Bang. His race existed on a higher order of magnitude than any current known races, in both size and in power.

I still think Unicron could take him. Galactus gets weaker and weaker over time, Unicron only grows larger and more powerful. Unicron is also truly immortal, even the Matrix can only destroy his physical form. It's been stated that Galactus CAN be killed if he allows himself to weaken enough. On one occasion, a weakened Galactus was felled by the Fantastic Four.

Ahh. I've been needing to geek out like that.
