Well, I guess if he didn't get his own mold, I wouldn't really want one, as E. Downshift is pretty much the biggest G1 Wheeljack homage as you can get - even moreso on the Super Link version.

I definately want Wheeljack to have his own mold ...I'd even think that the Alt paint scheme would work well for him. But if I had to have a repaint I'd go with the Cybertron toy.

Voted for E-Downshift

but of course a new mold would be welcome.

New mold hands down.

E Downshift sucks IMO. Nice attempt but that powerlinx gimmick really screwed him. His bot mode is useless.

Cyb Downshift is way cooler. I could see it working with a creative paint scheme.

Cybertron Downshift, in Alt Wheeljack colors [maybe a green stripe set instead?]. that's an awesome repaint, FreedomGundam.

consider: a recolor of E-Downshift into G1 Wheeljack wouldn't be much of a recolor at all. he's already most of the way there. what, different stripe shapes? different shades of red and green? dark gray/black limbs instead of the off-green [E] or gray [sL] ones? not a whole lot of change going there. and they're not going to change his articulation or mold out the powerlinking engineering -- that'd require a new mold entirely and defeat the purpose of recoloring [product more product to put on shelves at absolute minimal development cost] in the first place.

I think using Cybertron Downshift for Classic Wheeljack is a stupid idea myself. Apart from the head, it looks nothing like G1 Wheeljack. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought that was the whole point of the Classic line?

Since they included a Megatron that transforms into a tank like G2 in the line, and they put those minicons in...I think it's up for a little deviation. Cybertron Downshift for me.

Energon downshift and Cybertron Blurr already sit with my classics
