During his visit at Animenorth 2004 today, Brian Drummand of the Ocean Group announced he is slated to be the voice for Shockblast. Recording starts in a few weeks.

Thought you might wanna know

NICE! Hopefully he has a G1 mannerisms but either way its an excellent choice. Frontpaged and credited this as well :thumb

What else has he done? any previous TF's?

What else has he done? any previous TF's?

He was Jetstorm in Beast Machines I believe

He was also Vegeta from DBZ for a while, Tiger from Monster Rancher, Zechs Merquize from Gundam Wing, and Alan Schizar from Escaflowne to name a few.

BTW, Thanks for credit B.Galvatron ^^

He's also Blurr in Armada.

I'm disappointed that they haven't already dubbed these episodes.

Im sticking to Superlink..

I like Brian Drummond. He'll do alright.

I was actually thinking Paul Dobson (Sideways) would end up being Shockblast, but Brian Drummand works just fine!

He was screwed as Blurr (big appearance, no real use in most of the last half of the series, despite potential), but from what I have seen of Laserwave, he is going to have a healthy part in Energon as Shockblast

and Alan Schizar from Escaflowne to name a few.

Not to mention his homeworld look-alike, Amano :P.

WO!! He played Zechs? Awesome!! I loved him as Blurr and Zechs, so I can't wait. Just hope they don't screw Shockblast's voice like they screwed Rodimus's. His voice is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too deep for his goofy appearance.

Some people need to watch some REAL anime *hackcoughDBZsukshackcough*

:D
