You're better off Dual Booting if you want to keep XP, Vista does make some software run better then XP, but the same can be said of XP over Vista. Keep your games on XP if you're not sure, also you won't be able to get a new PC with a Preload OS of anything less then Vista Home Basic, don't get that. It is a must to get Preimiume, or Ultimate if you have the cash, but for the most part avoid basic like the plauge and don't bother with Office unless you want to cripple your self.

I my self did this, I got two 5.25 bay hot swap drives, One's got an XP boot harddrive, the other has Vista, I keep one for internet surfing and the other just for my games, you could do to both with putting two boots on each disk, but I wanted to go this way since I can just turn off one drive and on another as I need it for what I want and it was simpler. Plus you can take out a hard drive and replace it easy in case it goes bad, always good Idea to have a drive in your system to back up OS. 1 TB Western Digital My Book drive does wonders for that. I also have a 36gig WD Raptor 10,000 RPMs as my Page File Swap and let windows mange the size on it, Runs faster then Hot Rod on Nitro, Also it's a good idea to kill page file swap on any drive and just use the Raptor unless it's for just internet surfing. And keep that drive clean of anything so it just does file swap.

As for the comic. I love your Tron Ref there, and the little VR pods really reminds me of some obscure Anime/moive ref that I can't remember, I love how you got the light walls there, Did you play the Tron 2.0 game or watch the moive? I personaly loved both, but the ending in the game Sucks worse then L.A. Tap water or Hose water. I got to ask, what are you using for those Tower or VR pods, I can't quite place it but I know I've seen it from somewhere besides the com towers the Gundams use. And I bet your PC has gotten alot of log time by them transformers and gundams, think we'll see any of them doing a Co-op of some game or play an MMO? I bet WoW, but I still love Final Fantasy XI and City of Heroes.

Oh, and I didn't know your cat was a fan of Light cycle races, I bet that's the one thing that won't cancel the battle there. Since it's an Environmental hazard if you ask me.

Thanks for the OS info. I'll have to look into my options and see what I can do.

For the tower and little pods, I actually used a "Bespin city" tower rod that came with a Luke Skywalker figure some years ago. Specifically bought it for the tower rod. The container is simply a painted CD case. ;)

I'm a fan of the movie--grew up on it. I have played 2.0 on my PC. Really enjoyed the Light Cycle aspect of it. This scene had been residing in my brain for a good couple of years before I finally shot it. These pictures were taken back in November of 2006. (I had taken an original set of shots in '04 or '05, but somehwere along the lines they got erased. I'd sworn there were back-ups but I checked everything and never found them.) Yeah, this scene has been a long time coming. :)

You've told us how you managed to keep most figures upright on the carpet (pennies).. but how are you getting gyroscopically dependent vehicle modes to remain upright? More pennies?

Nah, just more camera tricks. But simple ones. The two laser cycles (Road Rocket and Flametrail) have kickstands. I place it down to hold the bike up, then photoshop it out later. Energon Arcee/Stiletto has one foot transformed down on the opposing side of the shot. That holds her up without revealing too much.

Behold the dangers of inner monologue-ing! I think it's great she got that upset over the color pink. Where will things go from here?

YIPPEE! Now I can read it at work. (for some reason the hosted images are blocked by my work webfilter, but these embedded images aren't.)

Man, talk about lucky, I've had a few times where I ended up getting pounded by the Light cycles because I didn't pay attention and ended up getting the smack down because of it. But then there's this that takes place, you get a lucky brake because the guy takes to long. Let's hope she can take advantage of this and win it.
