Well IMO Alt mode looks cool, but bot mode looks very Gobot style.

Impressive beast mode, not so impressive 'bot mode.

I have to agree that the bot mode is serriously lacking. But the alt mode sorta makes up for that.

The main thing I find neat is that the tail weapon seems reminicint of Black Zerak's (sp?) staff.

i hope you people are happy. because of your insistance that EVERY transformer toy must transform in some way, we get crap like this: a really cool robo-scorpian with a completely unnessecary and sucky robot mode. now instead of treating it like it was a really cool robo-animal, people will treat it like it's a really sucky transforming toy.
