Good point. But, Sideburn really burned me up, hated him.

I definitely miss the voice acting and characters of g1. Peter Cullen will always be Optimus Prime to me. The music of g1 was great too. Sometimes it was so poignant. I only saw a few Beast Wars episodes. I want to see them all though. I also miss the transform sound of g1.

I miss the light-harted storyline and humor of R.I.D. Call me a wuss, I don't like the grittier series. Transformers was intended for kids, not adults and teens.

Beast Wars, enough said. I loved that storyline, and it was just "darker" than the other ones if you will.

Armada - Sideways

The artwork on the back of the early G1 boxes. It was cool in an unearthly sort of way, especially the shot of optimus on the first G1 boxes. you could actually see the blast from Starscream's laser pistol ( I know, the early pics weren't too accurate.) reflected in Prime's eyes.

For me:

 

G1/G2: Wasn't born fast enough for it, lol. Still reading sypnopses to catch up. :redface

 

BW/BM: The 3-D graphics, I mean you gotta love it!

 

RiD: Well, everything. From designs of the bots to Skidz's obseesion with racing, Towline's dumb factor and Skybyte's sonnets, RiD Rocked for me. Especially with Omega Prime. He could kick total ass if he was in other series. Could've used some "Cell-shading" though.

 

Armada: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Well, maybe the bots modes and the powerlinking pants of doom, but the kids ruined it all. Nuff said. :tdown

 

Energon: Well, I miss ol' Starscream already. I mean he had some personality back in Armada. Now? Well, exept for the cool new look, he's like a drone. How degrading. :redface

 

Anyhoo, those are my picks!

G1 - the voices. Old Op saying Transform and Roll Out like John Wayne saying Wagons Ho.

 

BW - The stories, plots and character development and I loved the CG. I wish they would do a G1 series with the CG quality of seasons 2 & 3.

 

RID & Armada - Nothing other than they started producing new figures.

 

I also miss having the shows on network TV. I haven't seen an Energon show yet. I can't justify the extra $20/month just to see a few new shows.
