Some items for sale on Ebay

Recommended Posts

I'm finally starting to sell a few extra things, and starting off rather small. You can check out all my auctions if you do a search on Ebay looking for me under theweeter.

A few of them really liked and went to some trouble to obtain many years ago. Some of these I feel did not get the attention they deserve, so I want to take a time out here to explain why someone might want to own a couple of these.

Back in the 90's, when G1 had been put to rest, and there were no more Transformers anywhere, Takara kept on making cool transforming robots under the Brave banner. The shows did not appeal to me much at all, geared mostly towards kids, but some of the items had a lot of potential for "Should have been Transformers." Thunderbarron is one such robot combiner group. Can be seen here:

This team of 5 kicks arse! 5 classic TF style robots/vehicles that can merge into a super robot as well as a space jet. To me, if the Decepticons were to be reborn, and following Galvatron through space, this would be one of his main merge teams to rain down on unsuspecting planets. Quality of the set is very good, have the exact same set in my collection. It's also compatable with the real set, I have the real main tank, and honestly I like the chrome gold merge head better then the real version. If you don't bother with getting this from me, I still highly recommend this set for any TF collection.

Another cool merge team of 2 was from the Gao-Gai-Gar series. There's actually 2 sets like this, this is the second one. 2 big industrial looking trucks that transform into very cool robots, which can merge into a super robot that's pretty huge. And very semetrical, merges very much like the Energon Omega Supreme.

Pictured these 2 as Grapple and Hoist, definitely a great set of "Should have been Transformers". Toys were taken out of the box only a couple times, still minty fresh. Not a cheap remake, or knockoff these are the real deal. I bought this set as an extra, thinking I would make a custom out of it, but never even bothered. Still have and will keep both the sets in my collection, just selling off the extra.

Auction can be seen here. If you'd like more infomation or pictured, just drop me a line.

Clear BW Optimus Primal. What else should I say about that? Japan TRU exclusive. Nice and new, hardly even messed with. Figure was taken from box a couple times and placed on display. It's all clear except for the occassional black or silver painted parts. Was fun to shoot with a laser pointer, but fun's over and I really don't have a use for this. A nice piece for any Optimus Prime completeist.

ORGUSS 2, the series. Remember those weird little convertors robot things that turn into a jet of sorts that nobody knew where they came from??? Well here's your chance to check out the history of them for your self. Was pretty interesting, very adult story, kinda like some of the Gundam story lines. 2 waring countries, with armies of robot suits have a war between them...had some very cool moments and lines

You can check this out here:

I may also consider selling DVD burned copies of this series later, this set is for the original tapes.

I have a couple other sets of things. Machine Wars Skywarp and Megaplex, A set of 6 G2 Gobots, fake Landcross, and a couple other things.

MANY more items coming soon, this is just the first wave, a test for me so to speak.

Check them out before you miss out.

what's with your negative feedback?

  • Author

Beats me, the one guy never followed up to correct the pmt issue. I hardly ever gave feed back to sellers, so hardly got any.

The other one of the 2 the guy changed his mind if you read it.

I always wait for the seller to leave feedback first... he got my payment first, why should I have to be the one to initiate feedback? Got burned too many times by uber-feedback sellers who nagged to get theirs and then "forgot" to reciprocate. :roll And then there's the bastards that hold feedback over your head as a threat after selling questionable merchandise... "You think I'm a rip-off artist? You want your money back? Think twice about leaving me negative feedback, I'll do the same to you..." *sigh* [/rant]

I never used to bother with feedback. Hardly ever gave any really. Was a tough corner for me to turn in starting to sell things, and the 2 negatives out of the 131 might come back to haunt me. Should have made the sellers straighten them out completely.

Unlike your average seller however, I have a little more credit behind the name The Weeter. Been around for a long time, have credits all over the map, helping with Ricky’s "Unofficial Guide to Transformers" among others. I still to this day get correspondence from that book from time to time, and enjoy ranting about all things Trans.

So anyone worried that those 1 and 1/2 negatives out of the hundred shown and many many more since not accounted for, just do a search on The Weeter...ain't about to trash my old good name for a couple bucks.

I wanna find some cool toys a good home, and pretty much break even doing so.

I have some cool stuff I want to unload and have no room for any more.

These 11 are just the tip of the ice burg with me, but if they don't sell they'll probably end up in a...ug...yard sale.

Have not even gotten into the Customs, Parts and extra Binal/Alts I'm putting up when this first weekend goes well.

extra Binal/Alts I'm putting up when this first weekend goes well.

Any chance a Broadblast is on that list? ;)

No broad blast I'm afair (Kinda need that one my self, but don't have the $, or room for it...fingers crossed for Xmas).

Sold a couple, did not sell a couple others. One in particular I think "Rare" TF seekers really should consider.

Thunderbarron. And for $20 no less is pretty cheap.

Go do a search on YouTube and look up Takara BRAVE, some wild transforming robots running around in there.

(and of course the link might not work, just re-tried it after having the page up and it didn't work...)

Check this thing out in full detail from one of the best Brave pages of toy shots out there. (took me an HOUR just to find the dang link).

The set I am offering does not have the decals or silver touch up paint, but they are really great quality. Like I said earlier (and in the ad) I have this same set in my collection and I am never going to give mine away.

Back in the day, when G1 was gone and the most we had was the G2 comics, the "Elite" of the Transfans who had contacts in Japan were about the only ones who knew about goodies like these. I still remember the day ol Doug D had a bunch on display at Botcon, and guys like me, more TransFans of the arts were standing there in awe (I helped with the art contest room that year). And it was pure luck that I came upon a guy selling about a half dozen KO's of them many years ago. Bought everything he had and sold all but a couple. As far as I can tell this is about the only one left I have for sale.

They keep re-releasing that Buildking set over and over, and I have never been all that fond of it. I like the bulldozer but the merge is kinda weird. Why they did not go back (besides license issues with Sunrise) and remake some of these as Transformers I will never know. But this set to me is just something I won't part with.

Out of the brave there are some weird robots that I will not touch, especially the ones that are just built from parts, kinda like duo-cons...yuck.

There are still a bunch I would highly recommend

Guardian (super with the van)

Land Bison (Stunticons X4 and one of them is a drill tank...but still cool stance in super mode!)

SkySaber (pegasus saber, could pass on, was a 4th robot HAWK that merged with the 3 jets...naw)

Oooh Gun Kid...minus the cow boy hat on the robot head, that thing shoots a real nerf missile out of a big arse CANNON. That could have been a Galvatron if I ever saw one.

If anyone is interested in getting this thing for $20, drop me a line. Or else my next round of pulling things for sale it's going back in the locker.
