Cybertron Galvatron and Megatron truely VHTF?

Recommended Posts

After thier initial releases, I've not seen much at all of Galvatron or Megatron in MD. (I guess Metroplex and Prime are the current leader case assortment.) Anybody else having a hard time finding them? Glad I picked up Galvatron when I did...

From the time that they were released in Fl., they were and still are shelf warmers.

The lovely distribution system of Hasbro strikes again, it would seem. :roll

my walmart has tons of galvys but during release zellers got one

I love their distribution method. At none of the stores in my direct area (by that I mean within 15-30 minutes), I didn't see the Cyb molds painted for the BWX line Primal and Megatron. I haven't seen any 6" Titaniums. No Alt Prime at all in any case.

I mean, on my last trip to TRU, I saw Quickmix. That was the newest thing there. I only wonder what they'll have at TRU, Target and Wal-Mart in about two/three weeks when people start holiday shopping.

I don't see them anymore, not since I got either of them. I guess you can say they are scarce around here. The only major shelf warmer is CD Red alert. Sometimes transformers go so fast it leaves me wondering who the hell is buying all these TF's? Hasbro must really be doing good.

:rofl :rofl :rofl

Please tell me you were kidding. Hasbro isn't in charge of Walmart/Target/Toys R Us/Meyer, etc. shipping. They simply... make toys. Those stores are responsible for bad distribution, if such a thing is happening. I've seen it too, so I'm sure it is.

I think Hasbro wanted to avoid the issue that happened last year, in which Megatron (even though shipped 1 per case with Prime) ended being a horredous shelfwarmer, so much so, I doubt many were unable to get an Optimus prime (which isn't a good thing, if I were hasbro).

So with Cybertron, Hasbro got the major villian figures out in the first YEAR it was available, and then go with Super Prime/Metroplex to finish out the line. Realistically, neither Megs nor Galvatron were rare, but they DID sell, and when they sold, they were replaced by Metroplex or the two leader case.

Still wnated to get a Galvy but none in my neck of the woods either. Hopefully we'll see them when they are having the "we're going out of our freakin' minds" sale.
