Ok, this is my first try at a digital repaint. I used one of Remy's Rodimus pictures and Paint to try and recolor this. It's still in the process of being made, as you will notice. I've screwed up pretty bad, and pointers would be appreciated. Well here you go:

I can see what you are trying to do here but if you're only using Paint, you've got your work cut out for you!

Yeah, it looks pretty bad so far. I'm sure I'll get better though. I probably should've started with something a little smaller like a basic figure or a mini-con.

It is, but it is extremly difficult and labor intensive. i recolored an enire snes screen grab using only paintand it took nearly 3 months to fifish, and boy did it look So frickin Sweet! Itwas wiped ou in a comp crash, sadly. :tfmad

I strongly suggest getting a copy of Photoshop from somewhere - you're trying to cut down a forest w/ a butterknife by using MSPaint there. Why, my spiffy new sig that I made today barely scratches the surface of what Photoshop can do for digi-painting! :clap

Here's a quick and dirty example of what you can accomplish just by messing around with color permutation:

 

Your only hope with Paint is to do it pixel by pixel, adjusting the color as you go.
