The store you're refering to is probably Blister. www.blister.jp. They already moved their Darth Vader statue inside the store or stored it away. They now have Superman guarding the entrance in my most recent trip to their store in Shibuya. If you're refering to a store in Akihabara, then I do not know of any store that has a giant Darth Vader outside with a yellow sign.

The shop issnt in shibuya. its onthe main street in akihabara. darth is on the left off the entrance. as you go in, you can see the counter on the left and on the ground floor you can see nothing but robot toys. the transformers are usually on the left and there is a glass counter on the laft wall with limited editions and expensive tfs for sale. thats what they wouldnt let me take a pic of. there is another counter at the back and some little toadie shuffled up to me and got all jerry springer in my face.

Ah! I know which shop you're refering to now. The store's name is called Liberty. They have over a dozen branches Akihabara alone! It's roughly 5 stories tall and the first floor is filled with TF, robots, Zoids, and SIC Kamen Riders. I've bought from them several times and they allow me to take pictures when I asked. But that depends on the individual employees. Some don't, some do. I can't remember whether or not they have a 'No photography' sign at the entrance but at their main 8 story tall HQ in Akihabara, they do have a big sign there.

Ahhh Liberty...truly a Transformer MECCA! Do guys ever go to "Treasures" in the big complex near the station...(the one with the Skywarp display at the store upstairs?) It's SUPER-EXPENSIVE, and they sell all the new American releases for up to 5 times their value! Mandarake is also alright, but not as good as the branch in Shibuya...any other good stores to reccommend?

I've already mentioned that the name of the store with Skywarp display is Kotobukiya Shop, unless there's another store that has their own Skywarp custom repaint. I will not go into recommending other stores to visit in this topic as it's off topic.
