How to display BM Jetstorm ultra in hover mode

Recommended Posts

BotCon Cyclonus!!! :D But, seriously. I use the clear rubber bands that come with some Transformers and some push pins. I've got a small army of Jetstorm drones and the like hanging from the ceiling/wall over the top of one of my shelves. Looks kind of cool I think.

As you can see here the use of nylon thread gives no string lines even in flash photos. The figure in the lower right of the pic is C.Starscream to give you some size comparison. I'm rather certain that Nylon thread will be able to hold just about any on the Ultra class TFs.

The FlexiDisplay would work well with the jet mode.

Unfortunately, I don't see it with the hover mode.

Mainly because the toy would be in a upright position.

so how much do those stands run?

Right now, we are the only company that makes FlexiDisplay stands. I'll be contacting Hobby Lobby's buyer soon. As far as I now, all the other retailers (including online) who used to carry them have sold out since the old company closed.

The shipment may arrive next week...last time I checked they were on a truck somewhere.

Here is link to our pre-order page for the stands. More info can be found on 'About FlexiDisplay' Info link. If you have bought them before, the packaging is the same except that our name is on the box.

Looking at it the other day, I noticed that the hover thrusters have holes in the bottom.

One option would be to make a stand with two rods properly positionned and stick jetstorm on them.

The only question is if the that piece is strong enough to support the weight of it.

Maybe adding a third rod that sit on the landing gear assembly in the back could help with that.
