Star Wars Transformers

Recommended Posts

So I used to play Star Wars Galaxies quiet a bit and I remember a couple of my friends talking about what a potential Transformers MMO might be like. I thought it would be a damn cool idea and starting sketching some designs out. Since I was heavily into SWG at the time, I though it would be cool to see what a composite armored Autobot would look like. I also drew in a my friend's character, which is a female zabrak. Anyway, I just completed this yesterday and thought Ide post it up to share. Enjoy guys.

Meh, never been a fan of transforming robots turning into a robotic version of the pilot (which is why the only TF line I don't buy is SWTF). I've always found it kind of odd. But they're nice drawing none the less. Good job. But don't let Hasbro get a peek at them. They'll think these are neat ideas and start thinking "let's branch off and make a Wookie Catamaran into a Wookie transformer for our Star Wars Transformers line. And then we'll take a Geonosian and have him transform into a Geonosian Fighter. And a Nemoidian as a Droid Control Ship or something like that."

Not to mention, I can't think of any SW vehicles that have wheels unless they're landing gear, in which case they're pretty small (actually, I don't think they have gears but actually landing skids (judging by the "anatomy" of the X-Wing))

Nice work! You know I always wanted to create a Transformers real time strategy game. It would be cool because all your infantry units and building could transform and mobilize. Hmmmm.

As far as an MMO, I think its a good idea but I think it would have to be an 'outside the box' kind of twist on the Transformers universe, like maybe your playing a human character in the TF universe, BUT you can get outfitted with an exosuite that turns into something, and maybe down the line you become the human component of a headmaster, and fianlly once you've reached Level 99999, you can actually become a Transformer. Matter of fact, I'm gonna get started on it right now!!!

Did that years ago, it was one of my most polular RPGs! I even based the stat system on the Tech Specs (though each stat branched into 3 more specific ones.) Unfortunately, despite my dedicated gaming addicts, I couldn't run it GenCon or Shorecon, etc. Copyrighting and all that. That's also why I had to retcon the origin story for Dire Eden when I submitted it for copyright, which had elements of Marvel Ultimates in the far, far past. Why can't the world run on Linux?
