Beast of the East's Collection

Recommended Posts

You sure are young to have such a large G1 collection - very nice.

Take your collection to the next level with placement and theme :thumb

how would one do this?

Well, first decide how much space you have for your stuff. If you can't display your entire collection then pick out your favorites. Pose them pretty much anyway besides standing straight up.

Shelves of TFs side by side and back to back is overwhelming. Few people can take it all in. It produces a "wow" effect but that's it. I have done it both ways and less is really more. Right now I have a shelf of my large bots (Brave Max, both Unicrons, Omega and Sentinel, and C-Starscream) and that shelf is full. I have one shelf for Cybertron Autobots and one for Decepticons. My Autobot shelf is getting full so I think I'm going to go back to a Jungle planet, Speed planet, and Earth shelf. That will leave one shelf for Micromaster reissues. All of my Alts (and Initial D cars) have  a small bookshelf for themselves.

Now, all of my G1, G2, Beast Wars, Machines, Machine Wars, Universe, TRU, RiD, Armada, Energon, and whatever else are boxed up. Only a few of my favorites are in the open (E-Shockblast is usually on top of the Dish box at work).

Give it a try. If you don't want to scare people away, less is better :thumb
