well it's not like G1 where the autobots transformed into actual models of cars. it would be more difficult for a generic car to look dated than a Porsch 911, which has an actual production year attached to it.

i've seen previews of the new Fantastic 4(whatching it tonight) and its style would be good for the TFs

 

Question is if its being done in 2D or TCG or is being mix between the two if it is ligit.

i wonder what universe it's set in. it could be any because it sounds like the autobots have left earth and are returning after a set period of time.

well thats not strickly true we sertent styles are popular in sertent times so its not impossible to guess the year a car is made regardless of the brand just going on the generial styling. then again this is transformers so things looking a bit wtf is the norm

This news made my day. An American TF cartoon with an original storyline- sweet. Not to mention that if CN is making it, it won't be treated like crap in their schedule.

energon i agree but hotshot was an ugly peace of plastic and wasnt the date ment to be 2010 so i dont think it would be that different from today.

 

as for cybertron well galaxy force was ment to be the very near future if not now and not set post energon so you could say GF's car styles for the earth bots are spot on but for speedia etc they are more like your season 3 designs
