Sorry if it's mentioned before, but I couldn't ID the TF Universe Combiner that I found at Walmart yesterday. I couldn't pick it up due to low funds, but it looked like the constructicons but they were Autobots and they were yellow. Anyone seen these already?

Sounds like Landfill. He was a repaint of the RID line. He is okay but I want the Decepticon version rumored to come out soon.

Yup. Hopefully made with better plastic than Landfill...let's just say it's an apt name for him...

What's with the complaints about the plastic quality? The yellow Landfill I got seems to have great plastic, easily on par with the Armada/Energon figures. Nice and sturdy.

 

And yeah, the yellow Landfill isn't Universe, it was one of the last figures to be released under the Robots in Disguise banner, as a Wal-Mart exclusive. They actually came out a long time ago (Fall of last year, I think). Sounds like your Wal-Mart still has a few kicking around after all this time (Which honestly, I'm still surprised about, in that they sold so slowly. For a four pack of Construction vehicles that transform into robots, priced at a measly $15.00 USD, I'd think they'd've moved quicker than the several months that they've been lagging around).

Regarding the quality of the set, I noticed mine just won't go into Landfill mode. The pegs don't snap together well enough or quite line up right. I checked against my original Landfill and sure enough, there's a little bit of mold degradation there.
