Wow thats cool. Talk about a sharp change. Who is Simon Furman?

I hate this, Tidal Wave and Mirage are two totally different looking characters, Tidal Wave is bulky and strong but slow, Mirage is sleek and fast.

I hate this :(

Mirage is called Dark Fleet in superlink, and that gives it all away

 

Who is Simon Furman?

 

you call yourself Transfan number 1, but you dont know who Furman is?

He's one of the best known TF comic writers and editors, he was already arround when the first UK comics came out (back in the eighties)

today he has written for Armada and War Within

Looks like someone has been asleep since 1989 over here...if not that, they're one of those fans who "Remember" Transformers, and assume that since they had them as a childhood toyline, and kids like them nowdays, that no one BUT them remember the old toys....

 

And we've speculated that its Tidal Wave since his Japanese name is "Shockfleet"

I didn't know what User Name to use on this forum. I always have that problem with registration.

 

I am 23 years old. I had lots a Transformers when I was like 5-7 years old and my older brother had a lot too.

 

I got back into Transformers when the first Beast Wars episodes aired (how many years ago?) Anyways I had a small collection of transformers. Only 2 or 3 original Gen 1 Transformers. But mostly beast wars, Macross, etc.

 

Maybe I should change it to "TransFan" I was saying TransFan#1 as in the first person with the name. There can be a #2, #3 and so on....Get it?

 

I am not a #1 Transformer Fan. But I had no idea what to use as a user name. I just thought it was kind of cool you know? Oh I just got back into Transformers fromt about a 2-3 year break.

hmm, I think that kinda stinks. I didn't mind Demolishor and Cyclonus getting reformatted, they had there time in the spotlight back in Armada. But Tidal Wave really didn't get that much until Energon, and I like Tidal Wave the way he is. Ah well, I'll prolly get used to it once I see it happen in the show.

Can't say I'm a big fan of this revelation either. I kind of like Tidal Wave the way he is. Plus, I like having new characters more than just reformating old ones.
