ok well, as well as being a colourist i am also a 3d animator, as i have just finished my degree in animation in june (btw i get the results next week :D)

 

i wanted to put together a nice show real so apart from my final year project im also working on spiderman and superman clips

 

but i have this idea for a big project to do, i was actually not allowed to do it in Uni because of there rules about using preestablished characters. but now that i have some free time iv decided to get it done.

 

i am going to recreate about 10-15 minutes of TF:TM into 3D. Basically everything from the shuttle attack to Primes Death. Shot for shot with the unused storyboards thrown in to boot. the only thing that will be different is that the designs can be different (alt designs,classic designs, more toy accurate, Dons style,EJ's style, your own style)

a big project yes!? impossible no! a fun one yes!!!!

 

what im looking for are modelers,animators,riggers lighting as well as artists to help with the textures and special effects (explosions)

 

also i plan to break it down into small segments so that everyone who wants to should get a chance to animate something. though those with the most experience will get to chose what scene they want (hopefully those with the most lip synching)

 

i dont mind if you dont have much experience as well, not everyone has close ups and mouths :P

 

i will be using the original audio track from the film so obviously lip syncihing and knowing how to use blend shapes will be a must.

 

While anything i model and animate will be done in Maya, its dosent mean anyone else has to

also anyone experienced with editing and audio software would be great
