No chrome, wrong colored gun, a color scheme that has less similarities to the movie than Masterpiece Prime, and a 20 dollar talking stand? Thanks Hasbro!!! Keep up the great work!

Well, until you make a better talking stand then SHUT YOUR YAPPER!!1

hmm, hopefully walmart will be getting truck loads of these and I can get some on clearance for kitbashes and trade fodder.

Are you kidding me? Judging by your "plucky" avatar I figure you must be joking. Its the stand you're focusing on!?!? In fact, with a handful of model parts, a dirt cheap mp3 player, a small speaker, and the original movie, I could indeed make a talking stand for about 20 bucks.

The point is, this abortion of a Prime should in no way, shape, or form be MORE expensive than the 100% movie accurate Masterpiece Prime that has already been released. This is just shameless marketing on Hasbro's part. Why not rerelease the original Masterpiece edition with the movie tie-in?

Bottom line: If you don't already have Masterpiece Prime, and you're willing to do a little extra painting, this might be worth picking up. If not, I say teach Hasbro a lesson and let this guy rot on the shelves along with it's crappy DVD tie-in marketing.

I apologize to Artimus for derailing your "TRU" thread.
