Honestly, we still dont know WHAT Joe series this figure is based on. We're simply going on what Hasbro told us. If anyone knows where this design comes from, and even better has a pic, can you please post it up here. I bet a lot of people want to know what the genesis is for this versioon.

i think they made the whole "Gi joe" megs thing up because that's a big load of crap. more likely he's a scrapped design of the joe/megs that they used.

Plus the bio on the packaging mentions Cobra Commander.

There is no G.I. Joe story that he's from. When G2 came out, Transformers appeared in the G.I. Joe comics. A battle damaged, but still tough, Megatron arrived at Cobra HQ. There, Cobra rebuilt Megatron into his G2 tank mode. Also, Cobra has no conventional tanks, not counting repaints of Joe tanks. Whatever this Megatron is, it's something that's exclusive to the toy and that's about it, unless we find out otherwise.

 

 

As for the review, although I don't hate it like that guy does, I do agree with all of the problems that he addressed.

That's cool. Too bad the figure looks to be worse than a sh*t sandwich.

I think what everyone is really over looking here is that I can finally make a megatron dance video! Lookit his legs jiggle!

 

Also the cannon on the shoulder makes him look like a pirate with a Parrot.
