Review - Titanium War Within Optimus Prime

Recommended Posts

of course the phrase "light our darkest hour" as his trembling sweaty hands clutch at it - now hold all new meaning.

now that i think abou it - so does:

"I am unworthy"

"as was I, old friend"

I just got this guy. He was put together wrong. His back was showing and his legs were attached to the wrong hips. That didn't stop me though. I just twisted his waist around and unscrewed and reversed the legs. He has way more Diecast than I ever imagined. This Prime is the first TF that I've own that feels like a real robot. This guy makes me wonder even more why TRU Reissues costed so much.

INDEED

his paint comes off if you breathe on him, but hey -- it's "Battle Damage" when he's metal underneath, right? :D

He looks totally awesome... seriously one of the most immediately impressive Transformers I've ever bought. And I'm not even a WW fan (yet).

just scored both for 5 bones a piece! they LOOK really good, but arent really FUNctional. parts dont peg into place well on either of them. as much as i like the die-cast, it hurts the joints and causes floppiness. Dufftrix is completely correct in his assessment on these figs.

Just got him myself, don't foresee myself ever removing him from the box. Might consider a spare, correction... will desperately seek out a spare. I still wanna play with 'im.

I agree with the battle damage thing. I dont even care about the paint chips. If I showed a non TF fan they wouldn't even notice cause he's all battle deco'd any how.

I got mine last night. A little disappointed I guess, but not too much. He looks great, he just can't be played with. A word of warning: To anyone who wants to keep theirs pristine, DO NOT attempt a transformation. It's quite impossible to peg his legs together without losing some paint.

I LOVE mine...one of the legs had some flash plastic, I had to open it and shave it off so the leg would contract.

The only thing that make this more awesome is his trailer

MP CONVOY'D

you know what? I think these figs are more awesome in the box. Megs looks Beatiful in his personalized box but I know as soon as I buy em and open it I'll be like meh. In the store he looks so sweet though. I say this cause my love affair with Prime is over. I'm bored with em. Maybe it's cause his posability sucks and I'm scared to touch em.

Deluxe Unicron is Awesome though. Just gotta super glue his limp hips.
