Thinking about Building a City For my Alts

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking about building a city scape in scale with Alternators. I have a nice Start, I got a free Marble Top for a nice Street, and screwed it down on a surdy Table. So I'm ready to build a Metropolis. Has anyone tried this, or is there any site where I can brainstorm for ideas?

Thanks!

Maybe "G" scale model railroad buildings would work.....sounds like it would be pretty slick though once done.

Would it be "Earthy" or "Cybertronian" styled buildings your going for?

I'm going for a New York City scape. Robots in Disguise and all.

G1 Omega Supreme? Wasn't he puny compared to the size he should have been? He'd be good for the WST's but not for the Alts. As for DF2005 might I suggest using styrene plastic to build the buildings from. As for inspiration as to how the sky line and buildings should look I suggest googling some pics of NYC.

Thanks Roddy,

To tell you the truth I'm finding that this has not really been done, atleast not a lot that I can see. I have some sheets of Glass, I may try to build a frount so I can use them as windows. I'm still brainstorming for ideas.

Actually that sounds like a good idea.... and as Rodimus said maybe use some styrene or even thin plywood to build the buildings on top of the glass that way they would have real windows and stuff

And BTW "G" scale railroad buildings and stuff are commonly 1/24 in scale, they are just "old" looking buildings and stuff.
