My main concern with the yellow face paint on Megs isn't the paint itself, but the fact that I can't really discern much of a face underneath it... there's much about this figure that *could* be awesome, but I just don't know yet.

Also I want to know how big he is b/c he might serve as my Classics Megs :redface :redface :redface

My sentiments exactly.

Bow before me Optimus, so I might smite thee with thine turbo hand 'o DOOM!

I like the Mirage design, can't wait to see it painted.  As for Megs, love the Alt mode, but the spinning prop-blade thingy instead of a gun kinda makes me go meh, and WTF?!?  I sure hope he's Voyager-sized.

Deluxe'D

Anyone wanna fill me in.....what is a Classics?

oh man...... where to begin

short answer: updated versions of classic G1 characters, coming out in the fall (wave 1 anyway). so far we've seen Prime, Megatron, Hot Rod, Starscream, Bumblebee, Astrotrain, uh Mirage... I know I'm forgetting someone... oh we've also seen a small drawing of a Grimlock too

just do a search in this forum for "Transformers Classics", you'll find something ;)

edit: or I could have just linked you to Hasbro's site :redface

My answer was better :tftongue

now it *looks* like hes able to at least flip the blade to the forearm so it can just be a handless cannon arm. which to me doesnt make sense unless is a severed animal head at the end. at least you could still make him bite Blot. but a gun and a stump... i could live with it but you gotta wonder what their thought process is. and what the hell purpose could a spinning gun have? why not flip it up and use it to... oh i dunno SHOOT SOMEONE. other than that, hes alright and still a deffinate buy. and now i need to stop talking about megs.

mirage, i just love him. someone whos supposed to be a spy and invisable should be sleek and slender like him. at least imo. i think hes very impressive, and agree his head scupt is even better. i think his car mode is a lil fat, but who cares. spot on hasbro.

Thank you.  I might buy some of these.

They're both ugly, Megatron more-so, since he has the "not a hand, not even something that could be a hand substitute look".
