EDIT: Looking at the pics again, is it just me or does the alt mode of SS look smaller than expected? I was thinking that it would be comparable to the size pf Prime in bot, but it doesn't look like it to me.

yea, the bot mode looked a little bigger than i was expecting, however, the alt mode does look smaller than expected.  although some of that could be due to the lack of general mass when comparing a jet to a robot of equal length/height.

 

i'm pretty much sold on this guy now, just waiting on die-cast conformation, hell i might even pick it up without the die-cast to be honest, it's a realy freaking awsome mould

Well that kinda settles it then. They Powerglideed up the colors just enough to piss off all the G1ers. I think it looks ok, but I could really do w/o the white stripes all over the place, plus add a few more Starscreamish details.

 

Yeah, Buddykiller I didn't even notice that this is the first time there has been a size comparison w/ Prime (focused too much on the colors). Looks ok size-wise to me.

If you're referring to the size of the jet vs. the truck, I believe that's an optical illusion of sorts caused by the fact that Prime has his trailer (something we're not accustomed to seeing).  If you were to sit SS next to OP's cab only, I believe you would find SS's alt mode much larger, at least in terms of wingspan.

I still don't like the colors that much, but I can't order that club edition, so I might get this one.

No, I meant that the bot Prime is 30 cm tall and the alt SS is 30 cm long, so they should look similar, but for some reason the plane looks pretty small. I am sure that it has to do w/ the differences in mass and the angle of the picture, but I was still surprised.

Yep, looks like Screamer is just slightly larger than the Alt/BT's.

well the picture yesterday was a bad pic to start with, not to mention it was scanned from a magazine so that added to the horrid looking colors, i estimate his colors to be close to those of energon screamer's legs
