This guy has really started to grow on me, I can't wait for him now.....and yeah I too hope the stickers don't come applied (though something tells me they will).

I am thinking Hasbro and Takara worked a deal to release Stepper a little closer together than normal. Since Skids and Sideswipe are being released this summer, I suspect that Ricochet will ship in the fall (Sept-Oct abouts) with another toy (high guesses are Ramjet, Thrust, Astrotrain, the Minibots, or possibly Hound)

I hope that this figure is of better quality than Hasbro's Jazz. He was so soft! He just kept...well...flopping around. Leave him in direct sunlight and you end up with Jazz Soup.

Sorry, I just think the black/gold/white is more appropriate for a Power Ranger than a Transformer. Just 'cuz it's rare don't mean it's cool. Blecch. :tfpuke

I've never been too hip on Stepper.. I see him and I just instantly see the Hot Wheels logo. However, I'm still thrilled to see him reissued for one reason and one reason only... this makes my pipe dream hopes of seeing Artfire get reissued a great big leap closer to actually becoming a reality.

I've personally always digged the black and gold color scheme. Although I do see where that flame sticker gives off a hotwheels feel.

 

My only real qualm, is that the targetmaster can only attach to the shoulder mounted missile launcher post, because the hand pegs are not big enough. I doubt they will change that on the reissue, because his hands are too small unfortunately.
