but yeah, the detail is astonishing. waaaaaay beyond anything in Alts/BTs.

 

Maybe I'm the only TF fan who's also into military jets, but I can't find a single thing wrong with this figure. There's something for everybody to love, that is if you're open to it and not blinded by "this isn't what I wanted". I love the Sidewinder missiles also BTW... I wonder if they can fit on his arms

I still think that this is going to lead to the most expensive figure ever to be kitbashed for a whole lot of people (sure a few did Nemesis Prime, but many will change either the color or the hip kibble on their MP SS I bet).

BTs are MPs in my book. I just got Mirage and I'm so F'ing amazed by the detail Too bad I have no frickin engine/guns for him  :tfmad Hasbro bastitz!!

I would agree to some extent. But I still think that the MP line was supposed to have cartoon accurate figures, plus the qualities from BT, and this isn't quite there. Both lines are true marvels of engineering though.

 

Hasbro screwed you on the engine? Write em.

 

I will be enthusiastically looking all over Jacksonville for Mirage while I am down there this weekend. Grrrrrr, KC has no Mirage's anywhere (although I did miss one dammit).

I do have to agree w/ this too.

This is 100% speculation, but perhaps the MP Convoy designers weren't happy with how the vehicle mode turned out and decided to really focus on it the next time around.

well I was specifically thinking of the vehicle mode... but like I said, that's just speculation
