What we have here is an almost perfect, show-accurate,

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulllllllllllllllllllshiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

ttttttttt

Go watch an episode again.

now, i'm not big on show accuracy, but that statement is very incorrect.

Show accuracy in G1 varies with episodes or even individual scenes.

If you want Devastator to be show accurate, he'd come in 3 sizes. Normal uncombined Constructicon size, combined size, and Soundwave size :thumb

he was talkign aobut Op Op.

I know, but if we get show accuracy, it should be with every figure of the line, IMO. And the original OPOP was show accurate enough.

except for, you know, his entire chest and head area.

but seriously, I hate to be uber ghey fanboy(and I know i'm being uber ghey fanboy), but if Hasbro is gonna try to appease fanboys, put somebody competent on the design team.

The ONLY thing I remember him doing on the show and not as a toy was the whole chestgun retraction thing.

*has a bad memory anyway* :redface

due to the way he transforms, the only way to make a show accurate version of the original Op Op mold is to completely redo the gun emplacement is head comeso ut of, because of the fact that the head pops out of the backend, which in the show is permanently in the down position you can put it in in Beast mode.

Disappointed :tdown

These were not very well executed IMO.

OMG????? Not very well executed??? What planet are u from mate? these figures look so gd i went and preordered ever one i cud find :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

not well executed? Wow, someones standards are high...

Okay, I'm going to have to take serious umbrage with anyone who's complaining about OpOp.  WTF did you all expect it to look like?  What we have here is an almost perfect, show-accurate, statue-like representation of the character in question, with none of the wacky updating that's gone on with a lot of the other figures in this line, yet people complain.  So tell me, what exactly is wrong with him?

In case any of you have forgotten, OpOp never really HAD an alt-mode.  He just lies down.  That's it.  He doesn't transform.  His face flips around, and he lies down.  That's the most transforming the toy ever did, and that's the most transforming he ever did on the show.  What do you expect?

umbrage INDEED

and for the record, Scourge's wings are part of the character so I don't want to hear any more gheyness about "kibble"

it really is amazing how much we can bitch about stuff when Hasbro just friggin gave us Christmas morning and stuff

Except that they're all gheym, ugly, and have pat Lee Syndrome.

you lose at being a fan

Pat Lee syndrom?

Do they actually steal the money out of your wallet? :eek
