Totally agree, it's pointless having two Ravages in this line, and "Command Ravage" isn't going to cut it this time. We've already got two tapes, give us Laserbeak or Soundwave already.

Good God, WTF is up with people wanting cars to turn into animals. Great sketch btw but IMPO that looks stupider than a bot with a cat head. Either give a bot a vehicular alt or a beastie alt mode not both. It just does not work. I really have no problem with Ravage being an updated animal but please not one that turns into a car. Worst ****ing idea ever.

 

If this does turn out to be something similar to alt Ravage I am really hoping for Alt Cheetor at this point. As said I would much rather take a kitty head over a car "pretending" to be an animal.

 

That is all until more news developes.

 

Oh and since Prime has now been reduced to an itty bitty Ram pickup Megatron as a Caddy is no big deal to me any longer. A tank would be nice sure but Alts have kind of distanced themselves from MPs so whatever they do with him is fine by me. As long as he doesn't tower over Prime I'll be happy and be sure to get em. :thumb

An animal bot wouldn't be to bad. Imagine that thing set loose on the Autobots. It would be like a real Jaguar set loose on a group of humans.

I'd  love to see the guys at Fords' faces when they see the jaquar car turn into a jaquar cat with car kibble.  The marketing folks will be like WTF?

Seriously, I don't see how they could do repaints/remolds (cheetor and then?).  It seems like it would be pretty weak.

Nevermore said at the Allspark that someone told him "the character choice for the Jaguar might seem a bit repetative." And Nevermore pretty much reports news like that's all he has to do all day.

i'm on the side where it would be the dumbest move ever to make a car transform into an animal!! if it were true, it would be the biggest shelf clogger in the history of not only TF's but the whole hasbro company!

Well, I would not mind a car turning in to a animal bot.  Makes more sense with a roaring engine and it would be different.  Besides it beats being a cassete tape that can just lay around or be shoved in someones chest. If this rumor is true, then I have no need for Corvete Ravage and will use his mold for a different character.

You actually beleave they'll notice? I think they'd think it's cool. The way you're thinking is with the mind of a fan. In a Fan's mind, Cars turn into humanoid robots. In those marketing folks minds, they see what was agreed a Use of their car's likeness as a toy that converts to a robotic form. Way more open minded than a fan.

 

 

I think Hasbro Probably wanted the Jag to be Ravage the whole time but didn't know the line was gonna last this long. We are way beyond 5 car Models

If he turns out to be a beast, it could even fit into the BT story line.

 

BW/BT Ravage is destroyed and G1 Ravage is released from stasis in his tape deck. Then he wakes up All. "Rrrowl! Hisssss Hisss Reeeeoooowll! Roar. Mew!?" *translation* "Hey!? WTF! Rumble gets and upgrade and I dont!?"
