Nah, just something I did up real quick a few months ago to see how it would look... I got together most of what I would need for a kitbash, too, but, uh... yeah I'm lazy and stuff.  Plus I'd prolly screw it up pretty bad. :redface

although I am STILL hoping that someday they will release the BT version of Decepticharge in those silver/purple colors.... that ruled school

I think HasTakOmy has pretty much shown us that even when a head swap is the obvious choice - they arent going to do it.

 

I am pretty sure the new Scion will be IronHide and its going to have the same head. And we will all love it.  Its just like the seekers or Sunstreaker/DeadEnd.

 

Its a cheap repaint that is sure to get fan approval.

I think it looks great (minus the minor photoshop issues).  That would definately be my pick for next mustang.  Coincidentally, I saw that color on the road yesterday and said to myself, that is the color I would get if I bought a mustang.  Looks really classy, but still a little sporty too.

I'm also pretty sure that the next Scion will be Ironhide, with the same head but probably a little change in the car mode.

 

But since I don't really like the Scion, this is not an idea I'm too crazy about.

 

Initially I'd would've said that I'd rather see the Ram repainted white with cowspots and yellow parts in robot mode (like the RiD) then seeing a Scion as Ironhide, but now that own alt Prime and found what a incredibly crappy mold this is, I'm not too fond of that idea either. If we're talking about a repaint for Ironhide, my personal favorite would now be the Mustang in darkish red (with a new head).

That photophop isn't half bad and Dcharge's head works pretty good for that mold. Alt Cupholder it is.  :tflaugh Actually I personally would much rather see the Mustang used for Soundwave with a remolded head but that probably will never happen.

 

I really wouldn't care for the Scion being Ironhide but as already said we  as collectors probably won't have a say either way about it. I would much rather see it as Ratchet with Silverstreak's head and a lightbar attached and though I think that would be the obvious thing to do we'll just get Ironhide with no changes from the original aside from colour.

 

Ah well one can always hope.

Hell that mustang photoshop rocks ass.  They shoulda just called the S2000 Overdrive in the alt line and to hell with it. Or at least stuck that head on it.  But Id go in for that C-downshift repaint in a heartbeat.

 

The scion is so not Ironhide. The 'stang seems off too.  Hell, I saw someone do the Jeep mold as Ironhide and while its not my first choice, it still works better than anything else besides the Ram.

 

BTW, whatever happened to that rumored Mitsubishi that was in the Wallycron listings? Their stuff has been pretty accurate so far...
