I won an Ebay auction for him...$119.99...not too bad considering the $150+ prices I was seeing.....I hear he's scheduled for re-release...which will likely make me kick myself, but hey...screw it...I saw one I could afford, I went for it.

 

However...the seller, Digableplanets4  :tdown  kinda irked me....I won the auction on June 16th, paid on the 17th via paypal fund transfer (not a credit card or bank debit) and I just finally got the figure today, July 3rd...his auction stated he'd ship it Priority Mail w/ insurance....I paid $20 for shipping. A week went by and I hadnt heard anything..so I sent him an e-mail. another few days go by..no response...so I send another one...another few days go by....no response. I finally decide to file a complaint/claim with Ebay and paypal...that same day I get an e-mail from the guy stating he's very sorry, he was unexpectedly hospitalized...why is that always the way? Anyways, if its legit, tough luck for him...but I paid $140 for a figure I didnt get...so I was annoyed...as I'm sure any of you would be as well.

 

He says he's sorry, its going out today (which was last Monday) and for my patience and understanding, he's including a free bonus. Sweet i think. well, 5 days go by and I still hadnt gotten it, so I sent 1 final e-mail stating if I didnt get it by Wednsday the 5th, I'd be reporting him to Ebay and Paypal...we all know how good that *really* does, but what else can ya do? I thought I'd also be able to get him for mail fraud, since he clearly stated USPS Priority Mail...thankfully i didnt have to go that far.

 

Finally got him today  :clap , 18 days after I won the auction.  He's great....towers over my Alts..he's good and solid in hand, you can get some sweet poses too. I knew he was big, but I didnt know exactly how big..since I hadnt really seen him next to any other figure to get an idea on his scale....when I opened the box, I was like "Doh!" he's huge. Barely fits on the shelf with my Alts. I am *so* running out of room  :tfgrin

 

I'm just glad the ordeal (as it were) is over, and he's safely in my collection.

 

Now I just need to get Alt Mirage and Camshaft, and Cybertron Demolishor, Menasor and the repaints.

Yeah, about time. He is after all undisputedly one of the best figures of all time. I love the way he towers over all the Alts/BTs. And that price is pretty good, even w/ the rerelease it isn't too bad.

Congratulations!  he's great isn't he.  I'm hoping they do a black nemisis Prime next year.  That would just be amazing!!!
