Ok, the official website says May 11, Best Buy says May 7, Eb online says May 5, Eb store says May 6.... can we have a little continuity here?? :wtf

The game was originally scheduled for May 11, but was pushed up to the 5, probably because the game has generated a good deal of positive buzz and Atari is hoping to capitalize.

right, but is it out tomorrow or not? will i be able to go to best buy tomorrow and say " one transformers for ps2" and theyll say "yes sir coming right up" or will they say "im terribly sorry sir, that hasnt come out yet"

I would just call Best Buy and check. It is not like they have a dozen different Transformers titles like they do Final Fantasy or Football titles.

Right, I did call best buy. They say May 7th... so confused :tfmad

Then Best Buy will get it out May 7th, chances are that the game is shipping NOW, and that is when BB will have it out, some stores may have it out sooner.

Chances are that EB will ship once they have the game in stock, stores are probably recieving it May 5 or 6, but will wait before setting out stock, especially since the advertised date is May 11.

i was told today at work by the electro dept. guys that its now being released on the 6th...btu with our luck it will only come in later in the week

Ok, officially, the game gets shipped out today. This means all who preordered it will get it tomorrow morning. The stores will get it tomorrow as well. Eb had the strategy guide already though (which I picked up).

The final boss is NOT Megatron (incase anyone who cares didn't already know...

May 7th in U.K. That's according to GAME anyway. They should be phoning my the day before it's released (ie tomorrow afternoon).

EDIT: BTW did anyone who preordered it in GAME actually get a free DVD of TF:TM? I already have it so I'm not really worried, just curious.

Ive been told that the ship date is the 5th , which is a friday. Some stores might not get it until the 7th (monday)

on another note, here are some ratings on the game. It has an ok score over at gamerankings, A review site that takes all reviews about a game and comes up with an average score. GMR magazine sure didnt like it.
