You can get rid of the yellow with a wire brush. I did this on my Sky Linx, and he looked like new. The surface is not as smooth if your really close up, but It makes him look like new on Display.

The yellow is part of a chemical reaction, which means it can't be cleaned off. You can only strip off the top layer of 'skin' if you will. You actually can't be sure how far down it goes, so you might have to take off a full millimeter before its white again.

 

You got lucky with your Sky Lynx. I reccommend that no one do what you did.

You're Kidding? All it is, is a little discoloration. I'm telling you, wire brush or a S.O.S. Pad and Boom! Nice and White. I've done this with other toys as well. Not nearly as big of deal as your'e making it out to be.

Well, if yellowing the case, maybe someone, maybe a dentist, can use the chemical to strip out the surface layer, like whiten teeth to return it back to it's orginal color., that's if the figure is still intact after the chem reaction.  :tfevil

Yep.  It's definitely a fixer upper. 

 

The comments here have talked me into reducing the price to $180 plus shipping.  (That's $40 less than I payed in Japan.)  Beat that!
