Primus Gallery!

Recommended Posts

Well, as is usual when I get something absolutely awesome, I took some pics of my new Primus (sans Unicron head). I always try to go for poses that others haven't done.. So here you go. I'm gonnna try hosting them on Imageshack, instead of photobucket, cuz I think photobucket's getting mad at me.

Oh.. and, of course, I could take a ton more pics, especially of the big guys. But my camera's batteries are dying.  :tdown

Alright! If there's any more poses, comparisons, and the like you'd like to see, just ask. The only Cybertron unique molds I don't own are Quickmix and Menasaur, and the Giant planet minicon team.

i need on of those....

Look over to the left to see mine, or click the link below to check out the pics in my collection.

It's all about the lighting guys. It makes a big difference.

I was in a hurry, and don't have access to specialized lighting. =P

I have a question about primus. Does the set come with the four planet keys to plug into the Omega Lock, or do you have to get them seperately?

I have a question about primus. Does the set come with the four planet keys to plug into the Omega Lock, or do you have to get them seperately?

you have to have all of the planet leaders to complete the set:

override=speed planet

scourge=jungle planet

evac=earth planet

metroplex=giant planet

And the figures that come with the keys are total love.

Especially Evac and Metroplex. Fo' shizzle!

You can cheat on the Earth key.. But I don't know why you would, considering how fragging cool Evac is.

Supreme Starscream comes with a Cybertronian Decepticon key (I -believe- he's the only one who gets that key), and an Earth "Leader" key, which fits as he is the leader of the Earth Decepticon TF's (all 3 of them, versus the 2 "earth" autobots).

I put the keys in there because I -could-, not because they came with the fig. That's also why I put the 4 planet leaders in the shots, so that people would make the logical connection. ;-)

Primus himself comes with a silver Autobot symbol cybertron key. It isn't in the shots.. because I hadn't removed it from the box at that point. ;-)

For those following my shoutbox posts earlier, I did finally manage to find a screwdriver of proper size, and get his dual AA's into his torso. So far, however, I've only seen light/sound gimmicks for the front and back omega lock slots, and no where else... And I am not particularly fond of his front omega lock's sound (IE when his shoulders open, his arms widen, and his head pops out). Does anyone else know of any other sound points?

Finally. His "heels" look like they are seperate pieces from his legs proper, but they also look secured in two places. Am I right in reading this, or am i missing something? ... I also really, really wish his front "feet" would lock into position when open.

I don't have pics to add to the discussion, but I must say that Primus is, in my opinion, the best transformer ever made. (I picked him up today.)

F*cking ingenious transformation.

Can't see any easily identifiable robot parts in planet mode. Heck, the only thing you CAN see is his knuckles.

The hands........awesome articulation! Puts MP Prime and Unicron to shame.

The firepower......wow.

I'd give mine a 9.99 out of ten........the ONLY quibble is a minor QA issue, in that one of the wrist guns pops out a bit too easily.
