Best TF in bang per buck terms

Recommended Posts

Which tf do you guys think is bset in bang per buck terms e.g. a reasonably good tf but very cheap. A tf that you would be willing to pay more for. One that delivers more than the price suggests. and not 20th Prime because he is expensive and if I don't say not to say him the entire thread will become a shrine to 20th prime. Thank you! :tfgrin

I think when Omega Supreme arrive that will be a toy that will give you a lot of bang for your buck.

I also felt that the alternators who were only $20.00 U.S. was well worth that and you got a superior design with a model feel.

If The masterpiece Optimus came with the trailer that would have made my day

thats like getting the constructicons and not able to make Devastator

for the over 50 price range: unicron

40: e megs

30: e landmine

20: alt smokescrean/silverstreak when he's out, this impressed me so much and still does

10: e starscream

under 10: DIVEBOMB hands down

best cost/value ratio: Divebomb/alt Smokescrean

Ok you can say 20th prime but you have to say others as well.

for mine:

Unicron: I woulda paid more for this guy, I expected a brick and got the most poseable big guy ever.

G1 reissue soundwave: got him for cheaper than normal and he rocks!

Armada predacon: I'm attached to this guy

All my energon toys so far

G1 Skorponok: I got the guy for $4, you can't complain :tfevil

I hope to add E-megs to this list when he gets here.

Obviously Landmine and E-Starscream come to mind... I would have paid a few dollars more for each of them.

Arcee is fantastic for the 7 dollar range. Not only does she have a great robot mode, she is one of the best motorcycle TF's ever. It just amazes me how compact and sleek her bike mode is.

The Alternators are also great, I remember expecting them to be 30 or 40 bucks, but they are quite a deal for 20!

*Alternators--Fantastic car modes and good, highly poseable bots

*E-Starscream--Cool jet, great robot mode

*Armada Supercon Prime--A highly underrated toy: good truck mode, nicely articulated and fun bot mode, Over-run is a decent Mini-Con

Alternators & their Binaltech brothers are well worth the money, and you have a choice between plastic and diecast.

Pretty much all the energon toys with the exception of Hotshot, and Jetfire.

and my personal one, and only because I have been hunting them down for about a year and a half now, Spark and Colossus from the European Obliterators line. I never realised these things were so big. Well worth the 50 a piece I paid for them.

By far, the Alternators have the most bang for their price class.

Also, I'm loving the omnibots. Skyblast was my favorite of the first wave Energon figures, and he was one of the cheapest. I also love Strongarm and Arcee. Ooooo, and Divebomb too. Really, most of the Energon basics are some of the best basics we have seen in a long while.

-Turbine

50: Unicron

40 E megs

25: Mirage this vato is da schiznic

20 Alt Somke (damn legs\

10 : Rid Sideburn

6.50: Divebomb and Arcee
