I've been toying with this for the better part of a year or two. A specialty comics store I visit occassionally on TF hunting trips has both Universe Primal and Universe Razorclaw. Both look like good molds despite the colours,  but the pricing on these are rediculous. The guy's pretty much asking $60 for each. I don't know, is that even justifiable considering they've been warming the shelves since ever? He also has an Armada Predicon, (I think) for $45. Pretty high end IMO but I guess my question is are they worth it.

Recently he got in both Cybertron Metroplex, and Galvatron. Both priced at $80 a piece. Jebus roughly $200 for toys. My thinking is the Univer figs have been there for years while the Cybertron ones are fairly recent.

Bottem line is I want to get all 4 eventially.

For me, if you own the original TigerHawk, leave the repaint alone. Primal, I'm patiently waiting for the mythical Primal Megs Hasbro 2 pack *hopes the rumors are true*

Trust me, I wouldn't even bother with the Universe repaint if I had the original. Same goes for Primal. The thing is though I can't see pricing being much better on Ebay, and this way I don't have shipping costs. :thumb

I say get em then. I'm not touching that Primal tough myself. he's so g2

if you want them for cheaper, check the end cap. theres got to be someone selling those two for cheaper than that. if you were able to spend 60 on universe primal, just up it another 40 and get the bwr primal megs set. its friggin beautiful. and universe razorclaw would be worth it if it werent for that big neon green maximal symbol on his chest even though hes marketed as a decepticon :redface

If you need a cyb galvy that bad, i could prolly get it for you store price plus shipping.  they're prolly still sitting on shelves everywhere here.  no metro yet though.  still it would save you like thirty thirty five bucks.

$60 for a Universe Razorclaw is absurd; Toystoys (in Vaughan Mills) has a couple for $30 a piece (and their pricing is already pushing it on most, if not all, their merchandise).

IMO, better to get Tigerhawk instead; I got mine for $30 (USD) shipped from the EndCap. From what I've noticed, eBay prices are about the same as that too...

I picked up one of my Universe Primals about a 3 months ago when TRU had them on liquidation sale...  $20CDN each...

I got the other Universe Primal 6 months ago at Zellers.  With a battered box and all, I talked them into giving it to me for $18CDN+tax.

60 for a uni primal?  that is crazy!!!!!

i just got a 1995 primal(which is far better) with the transmetal purple primal and megatron all 3 toys misb for 68 bucks.

bro you can get a way better deal if you look around ebay.

your comicbook shop is a greedy seller trying to 3X his money almost

I say get em then. I'm not touching that Primal tough myself. he's so g2

:grr

I wouldn't touch Uni Primal, btw...Razorclaw looks cool. There's got to be a cheaper price than that on ebay.
