I don't plan on stopping completely, but yeah, won't crank out as much as I used to.  I am kicking around the idea of doing another TWW scratchbuild... ;)

Well, to me this is good news.  As long as you're creating, I'll be happy!

And another WW scratchbuild?  Awesome.  Just scratchbuild the whole line and show Hasbro how it's done  :tfevil  :thumb

The face was scrathbuilt using styrene so it's not any existing head that you can find.  Although I think G1 Computron's face looks very similiar.  I'm not sure if the size would fit though.

Great work!

It's always a kick when someone customizes something and it's almost impossible to see what toy it started out as because you're so sucked in by the new redeco.

That sucker screams FORT MAX without a hint of Metroplex on first look.

Outstanding  :thumb

There are now words to discribe how friggin awesome this is... :eek2

:clap excelent job VP

Best Metroplex custom yet. :thumb

Very nice, and well thought up.

How about some closeups of the head and it's alt mode as well as pics of the back shoulder areas where you connected the ramps.

Some closeup pics would help for those of us willing to copy your work a bit...specially, how did you fit the head on the body or does it just sit there?

Great representaion man. Like everyone said, loads better then the Japanese one we all saw. Kudos. Keep up the great work!

As requested by TFM, here's some detailed pics of the added stuff.

-First pic shows a closer look at the head.  The face was entirely scratchbuilt using styrene.

-The 2nd row of pics show the head connector piece I added.  So yes, the head actually attaches on.  No just sitting there stuff.  I tried to see what the japanese bash did for the head and all I can see was the original connection piece sanded down.  I tried this and tried to see if Cerebros would fit on there securely and it didn't.  Basically using that method the head just sits there which is kinda weak.  So I took the whole original head connecter piece out and made my own.  You can see also that piece rotates to allow the head to rotate left and right.  No up down motion though.

-The 3rd series of pics shows a close up of Cerebros.  Some paint chipping as you can see.

-The next 2 pics shows a closer look at the ramps.  Basicially it's just glued to the back shoulders.

-The final pic shows the hip guns, particularly, I had to extend the hip portion back in order to house all of the gun.  If I just left that portion as is, the back portion of the gun would be sticking out when retracted in which would not look so aesthetically pleasing.

If anyone have any other questions feel free to ask.   :thumb

Thanks man! Again it looks great and I love how you did the head's connector area. Very simple yet smart way of going about it.

Now to make my own.... :thumb
